Caramel German Chocolate Cake

Make 1 box German Chocolate cake mix as directed on the box, using a 9x13 pan.

While the cake is still hot, punch holes all over it with the handle of a wooden spoon or a large skewer, and slowly pour a can of sweetened condensed milk over the top. Let it cool.

Pour a jar of Mrs. Richardson's caramel or butterscotch ice cream topping over the cake and top that with a crushed Heath bar and/or  chopped pecans.

Can't imagine why dentists love this recipe!
